![]() ![]() We proudly partner with many veterinarian practices and clinics throughout Gwinnett to offer limited discounts for newly adopted pets. A partnership with the Veterinary Assistant Degree Program at Gwinnett Technical College also provides on-site training for their students. Additional partnerships with the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, in conjunction with the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and other agencies, provides needed on-site medical attention as well as hands-on training for students in these programs. This care includes intake exams and evaluations, heartworm testing and treatment for canines, and combo testing and treatment for felines (upon adoption or rescue commitment), follow-up care as needed, and spay/neuter services for all animals prior to adoption or rescue. ![]() Animal Welfare and Enforcement currently maintains an annual contract with Planned PEThood of Georgia to provide all kennel veterinary services for the animals in our care.
